Manage Your HUB Notifications

The HUB is great for getting updated about ONLY the content you want to get updated on. For those that want to customize their notifications further you can do so by following the steps below. 

How do I Change My Notifications Settings?

1. When you are logged in to the Hub, click on the three horizontal lines (the hamburger) in the upper left corner and then click the pencil icon next to your name 
2. Click on Notifications
3. Here is where you can change all of your notification preferences. Read the notification description for more information on what the notification does. 
4. Use the drop down arrows to change preferences.
5. Click colored button to turn on or off. Red button means notification is turned off, green button means notification is turned on.

How do I Change Notifications I Receive for a Specific Channel? 

There are two ways you can change notifications for a specific channel.

Option #1 - Change through your Notification center

1. When you are logged in to the Hub, click on the three horizontal lines (the hamburger) in the upper left corner and then click the pencil icon
2. Then click Notifications
3. Scroll down until you see the 'Channel Notification Settings' section 
4. Keep scrolling until you find the channel you want to update your notification preferences for
5. Click the Bell icon  to turn off ALL notifications for that channel
6. Click on the three dots menu (french fry)
7. Check on and off individual notifications for the channel
   1. Mobile - Receive SMS notifications for this channel
   2. Desktop - Receive push notifications on desktop for this channel
   3. Email - Receive email notifications for this channel
   4. Home - View content for this channel on the Home page of your HUB

Option #2 - Change Channel Notification through the Channel Settings

1. When you are logged in to the Hub navigate to the channel you would like to change notifications for
2. View the channel by clicking on the channel name or image
3. At the top click the Bell icon  to turn off ALL notifications for that channel
4. Click on the three dots menu (french fry)
5. Check on and off individual notifications for the channel
   1. Mobile - Receive SMS notifications for this channel
   2. Desktop - Receive push notifications on desktop for this channel
   3. Email - Receive email notifications for this channel
   4. Home - View content for this channel on the Homepage of your HUB

How can I remove updates from my Homepage / My Updates feed?

Are you seeing content on your homepage that doesn't apply to you or you no longer want to see in your feed? Change your channel notification settings to hide content from your feed. 

1. When you are logged in to the Hub navigate to the channel you would like to change notifications for
2. View the channel by clicking on the channel name or image
3. Click on the three dots menu (french fry) to check on and off individual notifications for a channel
4. Uncheck 'Home'
5. Content from this channel will no longer show on your homepage / update feed.
